Kharkina Anna
Anna Khrakina graduated from St Petersburg State University, department of philosophy, section of philosophic anthropology in 1997. In 2001 she defended her Ph.D. (Topic: Historical continuance of thinking in humanities). In 2001-02, she studied at the department of History, The Central European University (Budapest); her thesis was «The Institutionalization of Public Memory in Contemporary Exhibition Praxis: the case of Ludwig Museum Budapest). In 2002-03 she worked in the State Center of Photography, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, as the head of international programmes section.

— «Translation» of St Petersburg„s artist Vitaly Pushnitsky. 2003
— «Another Vision»: contemporary Finnish photography and video-art, joint project of the State Centre of Photography, Ministry of Culture, RF, AV-Arkki (The Centre for promotion Finnish media-art) and Frame (the Finnish Foundation for cultural exchange).
Since November 2003, she has been employed at the RusskiAlbum Foundation and The KvadraT Gallery (St Petersburg).
