“I have always been interested in the problem of pictorial language, the perception of an art piece, the development of which is its interpretation. In the final count, it is the philosophy of a creative personality. Therefore, it is a philosophy of art. And, consequently, the role of culture in the modern society. I strongly believe that culture is never introduced from the outside and does not begin ab ovo, as a tabula rasa. On the contrary, it presupposes an eternal dialogue with the past for the sake of what may come. The living constitute the connecting link. Culture is alive through linking and not through dividing. This is its spiritual mission”.
