St Petersburg Foundation "The Russian Album" was founded on the 24th of January 2000. The principal objectives of the Foundation are: To present and develop the art of St Petersburg artists in the framework of the international project "Russian Album"; To promote the development of the international creative contacts between state and public cultural organizations. To advance the implementation of new informational technologies in the cultural sphere.

The main activities of the Foundation:

To organize and hold exhibitions of contemporary artists;

To develop the programme designed to present the contemporary art of St Petersburg in the Internet (The Russian Album site);

To compile the data base of St Petersburg artists. Founding Partners of the Foundation:
